Andy Teasell is a professional engineer with 30 years of experience in the construction industry, including: project management, structural engineering, wood component design, and field problem resolution. Based in Surrey, B.C., Andy is the Senior Engineer in Canada for Weyerhaeuser’s “Trus Joist” line of wood products, providing technical support and training to: Lumber Yards, Builders, Engineers, Architects, and Inspectors.
Andy is a graduate of McGill University and has been a member of the EGBC Building Codes Committee and the BOABC Wood Products Technical Committee.
Steve McManus, Product Support Engineer, P. Eng
Steve McManus is a professional engineer who works with suppliers, Architects, Engineers, and Building Officials, to support applications of Trus Joist Engineered Lumber Products (ELP) in residential and light commercial construction. Based in Surrey BC, Steve is committed to providing exceptional technical support and training to Weyerhaeuser customers throughout Canada.
A graduate of the University of New Brunswick, Steve has been fortunate to experience many facets of the engineered wood industry over the past 20 years, including forest management, manufacturing, and design engineering.
Tony Carter, Territory Manager, C. Tech
Tony Carter is a Territory Manager based in British Columbia. Tony has been in the industry for over 30 years and 23 of them have been with Trus Joist Weyerhaeuser. Prior to becoming a Territory Manager, Tony worked as a Site Inspector for an engineering firm in residential wood frame applications.
