estim\u00e9e :<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Dans le test des piquets en contact avec le sol, apr\u00e8s 5 ans, des niveaux mod\u00e9r\u00e9s \u00e0 \u00e9lev\u00e9s de pourriture ont \u00e9t\u00e9 trouv\u00e9s dans toutes les esp\u00e8ces sur tous les sites. Le cypr\u00e8s jaune et le thuya g\u00e9ant \u00e9taient les plus durables sur tous les sites. Le thuya occidental pr\u00e9sentait une durabilit\u00e9 similaire sur les sites du Canada et de Floride, mais \u00e9tait moins durable \u00e0 Hawa\u00ef. Aucune diff\u00e9rence de performance majeure n'a \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9e entre les mat\u00e9riaux anciens et les mat\u00e9riaux de seconde g\u00e9n\u00e9ration utilis\u00e9s dans cette \u00e9tude. Le bois de c\u0153ur naturellement durable et non trait\u00e9 n'est pas recommand\u00e9 pour des performances \u00e0 long terme en contact avec le sol.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lors de l'essai des terrasses en surface, sur les sites d'essai canadiens, apr\u00e8s 10 ans, seules de petites quantit\u00e9s de pourriture ont \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9es dans l'un ou l'autre des bois de c\u0153ur naturellement durables test\u00e9s. En revanche, les t\u00e9moins en pin ponderosa pr\u00e9sentaient une pourriture mod\u00e9r\u00e9e \u00e0 avanc\u00e9e. La d\u00e9composition a \u00e9t\u00e9 plus rapide sur les sites d'essai de Floride et d'Hawa\u00ef, avec une d\u00e9composition mod\u00e9r\u00e9e \u00e0 avanc\u00e9e dans tous les types de mat\u00e9riaux apr\u00e8s 7 ans. Le bois de c\u0153ur naturellement durable et non trait\u00e9 n'est pas recommand\u00e9 pour des performances \u00e0 long terme dans des applications expos\u00e9es au-dessus du sol dans des zones \u00e0 haut risque de pourriture telles que la Floride et Hawa\u00ef.
