Les \u00e9l\u00e9ments suivants, g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement inclus dans une terrasse ext\u00e9rieure en bois, ne sont pas abord\u00e9s et sont hors du champ d'application de ce document : les fondations de terrasse ; les garde-corps et balustrades de terrasse ; la fixation de la terrasse aux maisons ; le contreventement lat\u00e9ral d'une terrasse. Des tableaux de conception sont fournis pour le bois non trait\u00e9 (Tableaux 2a, 2b, 4a, 4b, 6a et 6b) et le bois trait\u00e9 (Tableaux 3a, 3b, 5a, 5b, 7a et 7b).
