Nine Yards partnered with 720 Solutions (720), the general contractor and the user group on a successful application for the 2021 CMHC Rapid Housing Initiative. With a collaborative and dedicated team, the group successfully completed a 28-unit affordable housing development under the RHI in November 2022. The development is the first modular affordable housing development on Prince Edward Island. Since that time, Nine Yards has worked with 720 to complete a 50-bed modular shelter in a 2-month time frame and is currently working on a 10-unit modular affordable housing development in Western PEI. The team together has developed many modular design proposals for interested clients and developers and is excited to continue providing innovative modular solutions across Canada.
