Problem Statement: Structure Design
This assignment aims to evaluate whether a structure meets the resistance requirements through a comprehensive design and analysis process. The project involves configuring and designing a complete structure in plan, conducting preliminary designs considering gravity loads using graphical design and analysis tools, and performing multi-storey gravity load analysis to size all structural members and report the reactions at the base. Additionally, elements will be exported from Concept Mode for further analysis in either Beam Mode or Column Mode. This thorough approach ensures that all aspects of the structure’s resistance are meticulously assessed.
